Article Processing Charge (APC)

The editorial policy of the journal “Oil and Gas Power Engineering” regarding fees for processing, reviewing, and publishing articles aligns with the principles of transparency in scholarly publishing (COPE) and the practices of open access journals.

The journal is non-profit and aims to support open access without any article processing charges (APC) or other fees. All publications are freely accessible to readers and authors without subscription or payment.

Principle of Transparency

The journal adheres to principles of openness and ethical scholarly publishing according to COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines, DOAJ Best Practice, and the practices of leading publishers (Elsevier, Wiley, Springer, etc.).

No Publication Fees

The journal does not charge any fees for submission, processing, reviewing, editing, typesetting, or publishing. There are no hidden fees at any stage of the publication process.

Doctoral students (third cycle of higher education) in the state-funded programs are also not required to pay any fees for processing, reviewing, and/or publishing articles submitted individually or as co-authors.

Editorial Independence

The absence of publication fees does not affect the quality of peer review, editorial decisions, or the content of publications. All submitted articles undergo the standard double-blind peer review process based on scientific merit, methodological rigor, and adherence to ethical principles.

Policy Changes

If there are changes in the policy regarding publication fees, the relevant information will be published in advance on the journal’s official website, indicating the effective date, reasons for the changes, and assurance that they will not be applied retroactively to already submitted publications.
